Kaustav Industries firmly believes in the 3Rs as a path towards achieving a zero-waste circular economy.
The phrase Reduce — Reuse — Recycle is pivotal to our work culture and ideals. We fully subscribe to, encourage and promote the 3Rs.
Reduce
Waste reduction through prevention is ideal because it means less disposal, landfill and incineration. This can be accomplished by returning to the basics of waste separation and raising awareness of green and environmentally friendly projects. Reducing waste at the source means less reliance on new raw materials, resulting in resource conservation.
Reuse
Reuse means recovering as much useful material as possible for another life. Using recovered material reduces the need for new material. Because reducing and reusing do not demand the same level of new raw materials and natural resources, they should be the first steps in environmental sustainability; recycling can still require additional materials and energy during remanufacturing.
Recycle
Recycle means using and remanufacturing products with recovered and recycled materials. This ultimately reduces reliance on new raw materials for production and helps conserve our natural resources.
